question about CDT speakers

I am thinking of going with either the classic Braxial or component, but for installation wise I know the braxial will be easier, but how will the imaging be in the maxima. Besides at MMXpress.com you get a free set of the CL-5X's, not that I would use them, but I would be able to sell them hopefully. Any comments appreciated.

I'm nearly certain you won't be able to fit Braxials in your doors. The tweeters stick out way to far. I put HD-62DTs in my Max. They're not really 6.75" speakers. They too big around and too deep for the factory mounts (5th gen). I built custom wood MDF rings for mine. I put the tweeters in the A pillar to replace the Bose/Clarion tweets that were in the car.

can you tell me what the mount depth is on those, I am guessing it to be a little bit more than the classics.
