I have a 96 Se and I had a Excalubur 1800 Gold installed about a year ago but just recently I got my car back from the body shop and they had to take the inner door pannels off for something. Anyways when I get in my car after I de-arm it when I shut the door all of the doors lock except for the drivers door. Also sometimes when the drivers door lock doesnt lock when I arm the car like its stuck or something. I dont know if I need an alarm but if anyone knows what I am talking about please help. Or maybe its just time for a new alarm I have had this one in for a few years now.

I want to say they loosened the connection to the door lock, but the driver door controls all the other doors so they would be affected also...

 

Agreed. Something must have happened with that particular door lock. If all the other doors lock/unlock it is not an alarm problem.

Although IF you do still want a new alarm Im running a GD on Viper 550s !!

thanks for the help guys. the problem is that the drivers door lock isnt opening up all the way causing the other doors to lock and make the alarm all screwy. any suggestions
