I need help!!!

I need help regarding whether or not i need a new battery connection or speakers. I have an AlpineCDA-7892 headunit hooked up to the bose speakers. My problem is when i turn the stereo up real loud, the lights on the headunit begin to dim when the bass hits, then if i go a little louder, the headunit shuts off until i turn the volume down. Does any body know what the problem is or what i need to do to fix it.

Thanks,
Nick

Since you have an After market hu it is probably the wiring. Make sure you don't have any loose connections

More than likely your radios amp can't handle the power. Either don't turn up the radio that loud, get a separate amp for the sub, or buy a capacitor. The capacitor stores up extra juice to to make sure you have enough to cover the demands of the music.
