bose stereo cutting out

I have a '96 Se with the Bose CD/tape deck. Lately the sound has been cutting in and out with both the radio and cd, and last night it cut out for like 3 hours. The cd keeps playin and the radio seems to be workin (antenna goes up), just no sound. Any ideas?

The amps are connected to each speaker. so if the only one speaker drops out it would be just that speaker, otherwise i think its the connection behind the radio
