Trying to install SUBS on bose system

Trying to install SUBS on bose system

I just got a 1997 Maxima GLE with a BOSE sound system in it and i want to install my system in but i can't find the wiring colors for the BOSE sound system. Anybody know the wire colors for the rear speakers?

What exactly are you trying to do? I can probably help out, but I need more info. Are you just trying to hook up an amp and some subs to the stock head unit, or are you trying to amplify the stock speakers with an aftermarket amp... You should just buy an adapter for the stereo wiring harness, makes it much cleaner.

I'm hooking up a amp and two 12"subs and i need to know which wires are for the rear speakers.

You will need to convert the signal coming off the headunit. It is not speaker lever, or line level, it is balanced. Several companies make converters...check out audiolink. I think it is audiolink.com. They also have a lot of adapters and information.

I disagree.. you can run the leads from the Bose Speaker minus the Amp stright to the line inputs of the sub amp.. my cousin had it running for a while.. he didn't need any adapters

I tried audiolink.com and audiolinks.com, but neither was it...do you know what the right web address is?
