5th gen Bose HU in a 4th gen?

I have a 95 SE and am going to purchase a 6-disc in-dash Bose HU from a 2k2, Now I know that size-wise I am going to have to modify the dash to fit it, but I want to know, from you expert stereo guys, if the 2k2 Bose HU is plug-n-play with the wiring from my 4th gen Bose HU????

if youre going to that trouble, just get aftermarket stuff. its LOTS better, and shouldnt bee much more expensive.

I am getting a good deal on it, I just need to know if it is a direct hook-up on the wires. Thanks though.

If you are getting a good deal on it thats fine, but how do you plan on fitting the "odd" shapped unit in your DoubleDIN opening? You are talking about some major modifications and most likely will need fiberglass and what not.
