Here's the scenario:

I have a 6 channel amp. 4x75 + 2x150(bridged) I used a pair of Line-level converters to hook up RCAs to stock 5thGen HU(non-bose). I installed a 3-way crossover(passive)that runs the rear speakers and sub.

All the wiring is correct, but the sub does not work. The only way I can get any sound out of the sub is if I move the RCAs around so that Fader and Balance controls are switched. ie, i use the fader to pan left and right, balance to fade front to back. Setup this way, everything sounds fine except the sound stage is rotated to the right 90degrees.

I have to add that for the Line-level converters, instead of wiring the convertors left and right for both the front and back, i wired them front and back for the left and right. Did that make sense? I suspected this, but a signal is just a signal right? I dunno. That's why i'm here asking... Any ideas as to what's going on in my setup? Should i just give up and return the crossover and perhaps get a 2nd amp for the sub?
