Stereo installation questions?

I have a 98 se with the bose system in it i bought a new alpine deck to replace it and i have the converter. What should i do about the stock stereo being double din and the alpine isnt? Where can i get the kit from to replace the size and does it make the interior look ugly?

I bought a kit that turns the stock double-DIN opening into a single, with a smaller aperture for an eq, that has a removable panel so you can cover it up if you don't have an eq, and open it if you do. It cost like $12 at my sound shop.

You can go to any stereo shop they should have them available. I bought mine from Circuit City. Im not sure if the dealer has one available for our 4th gens. I know they have for the 5th gens, it'd be worth a call though, the Nissan kit looks really nice.
