Raised floor, custom pricing.

Alright, I just made a tentative deal with a friend of a friend to have some stereo work done.

I will have 2 10s in my spare well, my amps flush mounted in the raised floor, and some nice covers for the amps and subs. Nothing super fancy, but should be very stealthy and tight. Any idea what this should run, just for the install and wood, carpet etc? I have all the equipment already in hand. He's damn good, but doesn't work for a shop or anything, blows his glass at home, you know the deal.

Thanks all

1-2k.. having that type of set up doesn't come cheap.. (that's shop prices) but if my friend was paying me to do something like that.. and he wasn't a hella good friend of mine.. i'de charge about 4-5 hundred bux.

Thanks for the info, this is a friend of a friend and his work is solid. He's asking 5 bills, that includes all the materials except the amp kits so vinyl, fiberglass, wood, etc. Pretty reasonable. I asked the local pro shop and they said 12-13 large, that made me feel much better. I'll post pics when its done, should be smooooooooth!

expect some delays tho.. since he's working with fiberglass, dont' pressure him, give him all the time he needs, because if the fiberglass shifts while it was in it's gelling phase, he might either hafta start over, or spend alot of time sanding.
