Well, after saving money from the time I was around 10 (16 now) , I've saved up around 2,000 in cold hard cash to play with.


I know a little about car audio.... just a little. I know my friend has 2 JL W3 12's in the back of his Isuzu Rodeo, and they are nice as hell.

I was thinking about replacing the front and back speakers (the ones on the doors) with components (I geuss thats what they are called lol) and then putting maybe 2 12's in the trunk. Don't really know what kind of amp I would be looking at to run it all.

With 2k what would you reccomend? BTW this would all be on a 2002 Maxima GLE.

 

I would say just go look around at shops, or you can call crutchfield and get a catalog to check stuff out. Me personally I like MB Quart speakers for components but they can get expensive. For subs a pair of W3s would do nice. If you want to save up some more go for a single W7 with a 1000 watt amp Amps I like JL or Xtant, but hey just check around for prices. Have fun.
