I'm not a big fan of ma audio personally...As for how big the box can be...Well pretty big. But you may want to consider going with the recomended specs.

I recently installed a single Adire Brahma 10 inch for a test listen. I have heard more than a few dual 12 setups with less output, less low end, and well less accuracy. This is in an SQ sealed box, about 0.6 - 0.7 cubic feet before driver displacement.

Sorry, I didn't intend to offend you by answering the question that should have been asked. If you can't stick a tape measure in and figure out how much and what kind of sub can fit, then you need the type of answer I provided. I think if you look at any review of the car, or a Nissan brochure, you will see a trunk volume listed. But what can fit in the trunk really depends on your creativity and your installers knowledge.

Also consider the size of the open trunk. What I mean is how wide and tall of a box will fit through the opening without removeing the trunk lid. Or how large a box can slide in from behind the rear seat.
