Door Speaker Removal/Installation

Here's my question. Does the whole door panel have to be removed to access the lower door speaker? In some of my other cars, when I removed some panel screws I could peel back the door panel just enough to get at the speaker and remove and install new ones. I've done the rears and mounted amps in the trunk; now I want to replace the door ones. To anyone who's removed them... What do you think??

I have 98 GXE. No upper tweeters in door.

It is possible but its just going to waste your time. Just remove the panels since all you do is remove the 2 screws on the bottm, pop the cap from the little cup and remove the other screw then just pop off the clip things, then you can lift them out from the window track

Thank you for the link. It looks like that's the best I've seen on how to do it. Thanks again.
