has anyone built there own "stealth box" . I dont really mean stealth because i want the speaker to be seen but i mean a box that fits in that space by the driverside wheel well.
i have 2 excursion 1240 dvc subs but i am thinking of just using one and putting it in a box that fits that space. i listen to a lot of hip hop and alternative and i really want a SQ setup, some low freqs ( just to be heard but not shake the car apart)and louder than than my stock bose. what are the dimensions of your box and how did you secure it? did you take of the carpt in the drunk or did you drill a bracket through it . looking for suggestions as well.
