problem with amp with bose

problem with amp with bose

I installed everything correctly except the remote wire.heres the problem...I hooked the remote wire to one of the rear speakers.When I turn the stereo on, the amp light turns on but slowy fades off...What could be wrong???

well i dont think you can get a 12v signal running from a speaker i am guessing you do have a bose system. what you need to do is find the amp pushing the speaker, i think it is under the black casing over the magnet structure and tap int the remote wire off of the amp.it is usually a blue wire. but test with a dmm to be sure.let me know if this helps
