how hard to blow a BOSE speaker?

how hard to blow a BOSE speaker?

hey guys, for sum reason i feel like my passenger door speaker on my BOSE system might blow or sumthing..how possible is this? has it happened to anyone? i have my balance set more to the rear now cuz of the fear of blowing it...i usually have my bass set a little above that middle point, but i always want more bass, and it sux when u fear blowing one of the speakers...can the rears blow too? they seem more powerful like they can handle more

I think I blew my passenger side door too. It's the only door that makes a rattle sound now. Don't know what it is though. But I have my bass to the fullest.

I blew almost all of my BOSE

the rear ones went first so disconnescted them, and now the ones one the door rattle a little bit, BOSE make great speakers, dont get me wrong. But i just dont think it made to be almost full blast all the time with pumpin bass ya know.

You get much better sound quality (and more power out of the amps) if, instead of making the bass higher, you lower the treble. This is a well-known home audio fact, especially for DJ's.
