Amp Grounding Help on 5th Gen

Does anyone know a good ground in/under the back seat of a fifth gen? I searched and alot of people said to use the seatbelts. I tried them with my test light but wasn't getting a ground.

There are also bolt right behind the rear seat, under the cloth flaps when you fold it down (the seat). Same deal with those - not grounding with my test light.

Its late so maybe I'm going nuts but the only ground that worked with my test light was the negative battery terminal

Thanks!

I guess it was late...I realized today that didn't have the negative battery terminal connected which is most likely the problem

I prefer straight steel for my grounds so I have them grounded in the spare tire well with 4g for each amp, that's working nicely.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that tonight!

When you remove the back seat, you can run a wire into the trunk (underneath the black plastic trim). There is a nice, amp-friendly ground screw just waiting to be used on the driver's wall between the trunk and the back seat. Just remove the black trim around the pass through (on the TRUNK side), and you'll see it there. I drew a happy face on mine just for fun. The location of the screw saves running excess ground wire.
