What should I do and what do I need?
What should I do and what do I need?
I have a 99 SE with the Bose system. For the most part, Im happy with it, for now. I would like to add a sub. I already have a 12" Kenwood sub in a box, and a Pioneer amp that I will bridge to power it. I have the little line out adapter that came with the amp, so I can tap into the rear speakers.
Will this work? From what I've found on here, those bose put out a very low signal strength because each speaker has its own amp. Is the signal strength good enough to do this?
Also, I don't own a cross over, and Im worried about the rears distorting when I turn it up. I want to get away without spending hardly any money (no expensive crossovers). Will those bass blockers work, have people had decent luck with those? I've seen mixed reviews when searching about this. And if they do work, which ones should I buy as far as ratings go. Thanks in advance for the help.
