Is this what the v-shaped box looks like?

Hey. I have a camaro, but my brother just got a '96 maxima. I'm designing one of the v-shaped boxes that I saw a picture of on here. I designed what I thought it should look like, and I was just wondering if this is close to what you have seen.

Anyway, thanks for any replies.

That's basically it. I can't remember what the ideal angle is for the drivers faceing each other. There is also a slope on the face. I can't remember the angle, but have it measured pretty close down in my garage. And you must leave enough room between the two drivers faceing each other so that the surrounds don't make contact beyond Xmax. Don't forget to measure how far above the basket the surround hangs out.

Where have you been Anton? How's the Lex treating you? Have you seen what has been designed for your rear deck? http://www.acoustic-visions.com/tumult.htm

Should be able to eat 3 or 4 12" velodynes like a snack!

It will work. You just need to work a little harder at getting it into the rear deck, instead f under the deck. Under the deck would definitely not work as you would need nearly two inches clearance above the woofer to allow for excursion. X-max is about 34mm, but I think it can go to about 45mm if pushed really hard.
