i used to have complete bose, now i have complete after market... i got an adapter for the deck for sale, it allows you to use an aftermarket reciever with the bose speakers

if you try to just run them off the aftermarket h.u your gonna have issues, id strongly recommend the adapter

email me at swimmerty@aol.com if ur interested or just need help

Re: Slicing Bose Wiring foer New Speakers

I used PAC adapters when adding amps to the stock head unit. Just replied somewhere else about something like this.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=164051

Are you keeping the stock head unit or bagging the whole thing?

from what i have experianced, you cannot change just the speaker out with an aftermarket one ina bose system, it just wont work. The bose amps run at different ohms i belive. Your probably gonna have to buy a new bose speaker if your really hooked on the bose system. Or you can upgrade your deck and all 4 speakers.
