sub: quick removal?

I am new here but have been doing a lot of searching but could not really find anything specific to my question. I just had a Kicker CompVR 12" sub and a Kicker KX 600.4 installed today. The only problem that I noticed with the installation is that they secured the sub near the rear left tail light with 2 lousy screws, one of which didn't hold. I am looking to somehow better secure the sub in the trunk using a method in which it can easily be removed if I travel with a lot of luggage or something. I searched and found that some people use velcro, but I was looking for something a little stronger, maybe some kind of track or quick release brackets. Has anybody done anything like this before or have any ideas? Thanks!

there's all kinds of quick-release fasteners out there. just have to spend some time in a hardware store and see what they have. one method may be to use door hinges.. bolt one on each side of the sub enclosure, then the other half of it to the floor. when you want to remove the sub enclosure, remove the hinge pins and pull the sub out.

JUST MAKE SURE THAT THE ENDS OF THE WIRES DO NOT TOUCH WHEN THE SUB IS OUT (or any other time, for that matter). This will fry the amp.

"L" brackets on 3 sides or door lock hinged latches (w/ the "D" ring and latch) would also work for the mounting.
