Well, here's my situation: 95 GLE with Bose, plus 2 10" Alpine S subs with RF 160 amp. All the Bose speakers and amps have been replaced at some time in the last 2 years (long story...dont ask). Recently, since its gotten cold, my speakers on the left side sometimes dont work. I'll turn on the car, and the other side will work fine, but the left side just doesn't turn on. Sometimes if I turn the HU off then on, it sorta fixes the problem. Usually when I turn the car off then on again, the problem is gone. I think this is totally random too. When I slam the front door to try to fix the problem, or hit the HU, nothing really happens. Whats going wrong with my Bose again?

common problems on the bose stuff are the circuit boards are cheap and they use cheap solder on them. tear the left side amp apart and resolder the connections on the power side of the circuit and replace the capacitors inside it. should have you pu and running again. if not, then it's something inside the head unit and I have yet to figure that one out.
