Replacing Head Unti with indash 6 disk
Is it possible in a 97' GLE to replace the Bose head Unit with another Bose 6 disk in-dash head unit from another year (2001)?

The site says it hooks directly up to stock wiring. They have a lot of info through that site, be sure to surf it thoroughly, I looked through it this morning.

I just replaced my gxe radio/tape with a 2001 Altima 6cd/radio dbl-din and it's awesome. but u have bose, which's another story. good luck

Well if yours workes fine, then I would think that Bose should be the same thing.
