whats the cheap alternative sound deadener to dynamat?

i remember reading something about some kind of roofing material awhile back but i searched and couldn't find it

it's called peel-n-seel or something like that. you can get it at home depot.. it works decent..

I'm using Raammat.. good stuff there too. pics on my website (linked in the other dynamat thread going with this one)

nope.. only problem I've seen is that some of it tends to "melt" and run down the sheet metal in areas that is gets really hot.. I think it's the adhesive on it, but not certain. no probelms myself with that because every place I've put it, it doesn't matter what it looks like or is covered in.

Everyone says home depot, but not all of them carries it. At least the two I checked don't. But I know Lowes has it. That's where I got it form.

ok thanks! i haven't checked either yet but i plan on it later this week....how much is this stuff anyways? how much do i need to do the whole floorboard/trunk??
