Legacy?

Are legacy amps any good?..Just asking cuz im gonna be running a 1100 watt rms sub and im looking for an amp that runs about 700-1000 watts...i saw a legacy for pretty cheap..if they are no good can you guys suggest any amps that are reasonable...dont wanna spend over $200..also if im running just one sub should i get a mono channel amp or a 2 channel amp?..

Legacy is crap

Legacy amps are considered low-end amps and they tend to overate their amps. You are better off buying a quality amp such as JBL BP1200 or BP600. I would buy mono amps to drive the sub rather than buy a 2 channels amps and bridge it. Mono amps are more efficient but they do cost more. Hop this help.
