find someone on org or ebay that has that speaker for sale....

you can replace the speaker wit aftermarket but u normally have to buy them in two's for both sides and you can't just wire them up to the head unit, the bose run on seperate amps and any install wit bose head unit will be very complicated...this is all i know but to save a lot money may cost you a lot of work...

I have 6x9 Pioneer in the rear of my 1995 with Bose. It sounds fine, you can go aftermarket. I had to dremel the rear round speaker to make it oval to fit the 6x9, but it sounds nice. You can ask Trinity000, he heard it, and he's the one that got me the speaker from BestBuy where he used to work, for an employee discounted price.

Go to www.carstereohelp.com for factory components. They have Bose speakers for Maximas.

Don't install regular aftermarket speakers. Bose speakers have 1 Ohm impedance while normal car stereo speakers have 4 Ohm impedance. The result will be a less loud speaker. To properly replace the speakers with aftermarkets, you'd have to bypass the amps and get yourself a full 4 channel amp and run the speakers from that.

Dude, I have all four factory speakers plus the factory bose cd/cassette head unit. If you need the speaker let me know. I'd sell it to ya since I'm not using them anymore.

Do what everyone with bose should do. Rip it out and deposit in nearest trash can. All of it. Headunit, amps, and all speakers. It will sound better with an empty hole in the dash than with a new condition bose system.

Well sure, if you beleive a car salesman's pitch. But the truth is that the only thing they are good at is supplementing the dealers and salesman's budget. No, I take it back. They are very good for the average car buyer. The buyer who has never heard great sound reproduction.

Agreed.

I could have had 1/2 my aftermarket system paid for if I wasn't forced into the Bose.

I completely differ, I choose not to screw with my cars elictrical and dont like having my music being shared with the neighborhood. Is there a better stock stereo system? I doubt it.
I have installed a lot of aftermarket car stereo systems and through it all determined that I would start buying systems i didnt have to replace.
