Bass causes nasty rattle inside car instead of outside???
i don't even have the greatest system but when i put bass up to a certain degree, it makes this nasty rattle inside car which makes it sound like the inside speakers are about to die...but its not the speakers...i did a few tests with bass on and off and it sounds nice and clear without bass but with bass, the rattle makes nasty distortion inside car as if one of my inside speakers are dead....
i think dynamat may fix this small problem but normally i hear nasty rattles outside car like in trunk but mine seems to be different, coming from inside car...nasty rattle...
what do u guys recommend? just putting dynamat inside doors? i need to check if there is anything inside the door pockets but i really doubt it...

I don't know what year model your car is, but I had (and stil have, a little) a nasty rattle in my car, and it is an 86 Maxima. More on the outside though. I turns out that I have a heat shield between the exhaust and the bottom of the car, and a small section at the rear rattled when I pushed up the bass. I stuffed a piece of foam where it rattled, and it stopped. Now I have to concentrate on dynamatting the trunk so my tail lights will quit rattling.

i have a 97...i think all maxima's have a heat shield there unless they personally took them off...but i don't think that's where my rattle is coming from...
