I know the rear speakers are 6.75" in my non-Bose, "Active Speaker System" because I have already replaced them myself with crappy Pioneer ones. My question was if I could get 6.5"s in there without a lot of trouble. The Pioneer speakers I have back there are 6.5"s with these mounting rings from Pioneer. Personally, the speakers sound terrible (you get what you pay for, $40 speakers don't sound good), but the rattling of those stupid brackets is even worse. Has anyone done any fabrication with some MDF or something else that could help me out with this? Thanks.
