My friend has a DEI Viper alarm that was installed in 1997 in his 97 Maxima SE. I don't know what model it is but the remote has only two buttons. The annoying this is that the doors auto-lock if the doors are closed and many a times has the keys been left in. Is there a way do diable this "feature?"

 

The owners manual will tell how to do that... Hope he still has it!

It's a pretty easy, but also easy to mess up process of multiple keypresses and valet switch pressing and other stuff

I bet there's a manual somewhere on their web site too
