i have a 95 gxe, and just recently the display won't work. it will be totally blank screen, not telling track info or anything. its not the lighters or the dimmer switch, because sometimes it will kick back on and the brightness is not affected. any ideas? help? thnx

I have the same prob (95se)and have for a year now.. mine just kicked back on last monday for the first time in a while. bright as ever still.. im not sure if there is a way to ever fix this? mdub.

Well, if you are technically inclined, take it to a Car audio shop or a BOSE dealer. I, myself, would take the thing apart and see if any of the wire leads going to the display are loose or broken. I like to tinker with things....

Mine does it as well but mostly when its cold.

Very common on the 95-96's there are places you can take to get it fixed or some have suggested snagging a used 97-99 model on ebay
