Need Speaker help

I just got a 1996 Maxima. I have put a Kenwood KDC-2011S reciver in it and now i want to purchase some speakers. It has those Pannasonic ones from the factory in it now and they are driving me insane. I want better bass but i don't really want to get a power amp. i have 6 1/2 opeaning all the way around. Let me know if you have any ideas for what kind of speakers to get. thanks

Re: Need Speaker help

Upgrading your speakers will not make much of a difference until you put a quality amp to them. I put eclipse coaxils on my stock deck and it still sounded like as*. However when I put an amp to them, it made a world of difference. Good value speakers though, when you get an amp, are infinity reference 652i coaxils.
