i got a kenwood kdc-v7017 47x4. About $300.00+ when it first came out but i bought it off my bros friend before he went into the military.
When i first installed it, it was all good. I installed it myself and i know i did every right. This wasnt my first time installing a cd deck either. Everything worked well. A few weeks later the display died. I mean all the ligthts that lights up to show the buttons just stopped working. If you throw in a cd it will still play but there is not a single button that lights up. So now the whole faceplate is pretty much blank. can anyone help me find out whats wrong? Anyone share similar problems? Anyone know if local stores/stereo shops fix these kinds of problems if you dont have original receipts.? Any help is appreciated!!
