Hey all, I'm a newbie to this board but a fairly well-known person on the "other" 3rd gen board. I hope you'll be able to answer this question about installing the add-on CD player. Right now I have a 1-DIN Bose tape deck, and I recently bought a 1-DIN add-on CD player that goes under the tape player where the storage comparment currently is. My question concerns the power sources for this CD player. I have yet to find any unused power source under the dash; did any of you run into this problem when installing this? Would you suggest using Y-splitters for the power, or what solution would you suggest? It's got the three separate power plugs, and one is marked with a warning telling that it has to go to a cable connected to the ignition system or something. TIA.

Splice the power and ground right to the tape players power and ground. The last wire that it suggests to hook to the ignition is the lead. You see that way when you turn on the ignition, the cd knows to turn on.
