Looking to redo the interior speakers...

Right now i'm running an alpine headunit w/ rockford fosgate POS's all around and 1 12" eclipse DVC aluminum sub pushed by a JL amp. I'm looking to go 6.5 up front and 6X9 rears or maybe just doing 6.5 in the rear as well. I want something crisp and clean. Suggests anyone? I've been thinking infiniti or MB Quart but haven't had much experience with either...

I ran Infinity 6.5 in both front and rears (at different times) and they sound great in either locations. As far as 6x9's, I can't tell ya, cause I haven't used them, so I don't know.

Which Rockford Fosgates didn't you like? I recently got a set of the FNP2614 6.5" components for front and rear. I heard them in the store and I really liked the sound.

I also heard MB Quarts in my friends Porsche and they were just too bright. Very harsh sounding speakers. The RFs sounded much more laid back. I'm going to install them this weekend or next so hopefully they will sound as good in the car as they did in the store.

Chris, I have the inifinity reference components up front and 6.5 coax's in the rear. I think they sound pretty good.

Did you have tweeters with this setup? If so, did you use the stock BOSE tweeters or did you install your own? I'm about to get a similar setup.
