I have the JVC El Kameleon in my max and had it installed about 2 years ago, and have never had a problem with it. Lately though, it'll be playing, start to get some static, and then just cut out. The power is still playing the CD, but no music is coming from the speakers. The odd part is that when I get my car washed, it'll work again! But it won't work until I get it washed. Is the car just telling me I need to wash the car? Or is there a wiring problem somewhere that might cause it to do that? It just is ****in' me off 'cause I can't listen to my music. I have aftermarket rear speakers, but I don't think that's the problem. Any advice would be great!

 

Sounds like there is a bad wiring conection that is somewhere that water can get to it.
