A few questions...

1) How did you match the f'in carpet? I can't seem to find a match for my 2k3? Did you just carpet the whole thing?

2) What did you line the bottom of the amp rack with? Nice touch.

3) Any problems with heat? Did you need to use a fan for the amps?

4) Any pics of the subs?

This install looks awesome, good job!

I want to do a false floor on my 2k3, but the bandpass box I have bearly fits as it is. Raising the floor 3 - 4 inches would force me to get another one. Do you have any ideas?

Hey Jason,
Trunk looks awesome my man! Very nice work. An inspiration to the rest of us who want sweet trunks. Is that just a single ported MB in there?

I love the amp well, and the cap/distro setup.

Mike

1. None of the panels are factory, and all new carpet was added to them, it's acually not the factory color, just close enough to seem that way.

2. Can you explain a little better what your looking for? The bottom of the amp rack is down in the tire well. and takes most of that up.

3. NO problems, 2 fans on each amp (6) one pulling air out.

4. There are pics of the subs, its the tub behind the seat with new cover. Just the one.

Blaxxima, yes it is just the single mb quart pwd 12, but it's not ported it's sealed.

Very nice. This is definitely the nicest I've seen. I didn't check to see if you had a homepage with more pics, but will after posting this. If you don't, do you have pics that could be emailed?

Thanks

Albert

Thanks, I do have a homepage but its from about 2 maybe even 3 years ago and the old install. I have a few other pics but they are pretty much the same things, I plan to try to get started on a new hompage that I don't have to reli on others to maintain and hope to have it goning at the end of the month.

What is that thing on the right side of ur trunk that says CAP. Im guessin that its a Capacitor, what brand / where did you get it. It looks really good. That install is one of the best I have ever seen!!! did you do a passthrough box or something, you need to take some more pics of the subs.

That thing is a 15 farad cap. Alumapro makes them they also come in 5 farad and 50 farad...Yes I said 50. Alot of stores sell them just dont' carry um in stock. The box is a fiberglass sealed enclosure...The metel pieces behind the seat and that the uper seat mounts to where removed and the encosure fits up in the "deaad space" of about 3" between the seat and acual what I would call the trunk where the end of the wheel well hump is. New mounting things where made and it mounts to that. Then instead of the factory plastic and metel, new mdf wrapped with vinal was put in it's place to shroud the sub and the painted glass of the encloures front side.

I tried to get some good pics, but it was dark cuz of the bad wheater, I hope to get some sun in a few days down south and start getting the good pics up and doing the site with full discriptions of everything.

Nice job Jason. Glad to hear it is done, for now. Too bad the pics weren't opening up for the large view with my Netscape 7 tonight. May just need to reboot the computer. But what I can make out in the tiny photo's looks good.

It looks like he has some sort of lights underneath the components. Must be the flash.
