I have component fronts and 2-way coaxials in the rear that I installed myself, so it was kind of a hack and slash job. They work fine, but if I sell the car, should I remove the speakers, or leave them there? When I installed the speakers, I cut the oem connectors off and spliced the signal wires to the new speakers. To go back to stock, I'd have to buy the oem connectors and speakers. I still have the oem HU. The components are Infiniti reference 605cs and the rears are Infiniti Kappa 5.25s. I got them cheap off eBay, and I doubt I'd install them on my new car.

 

For a decent price, I will buy the 605's off of you. Just decide if it is worth the time and money to you to remove them...What happened to the OEM speakers?

 

I destroyed them trying to cut out the bracket for the new speakers. A few people have cut the old speaker out of the plastic ring, then glued the new speaker into the ring so they could mount it with the stock mounting design. I thought this was too ghetto, so I ended up throwing them away.

As for the 605cs, they woofer's are fine, but I made a mess of the tweeters. They still sound good, but they're in bad shape. I think Soundmike has a set of the tweeters. Maybe we could work something out. The deal is, I might keep the car for a few months, so I might not remove the speakers anytime soon.
