How much dynamat...

dynamat
I also am going to install some dynamat for my MB componets and I have done some research. I found a dynamat original door kit model no. 10135 at www.carmeda1.com for $29.00. That is by far the cheapest price I have seen and researched anywhere. This kit includes enough dynamat to do two doors. Once your in the carmedea1 website, click "car audio", then clik "dynamat" you'll find it there, super cheap. Most places sell that kit from $35-$60. By the way, what components are you running? Good luck

some one told me a site that sells generic dynamat for $15 for a 2x3 sheet im planing on doing under the carpet doors and trunk, for under $100 my car should be as quit as a lexus. u also might want to put foam padding in the doors like the stuff u used to use, when u went camping as a kid, that will abosord extra sound in the doors and trunk area

there's a big difference between rattles and vibrations. vibrations are caused by the sound waves putting pressure on the car. rattles are caused by foreign objects that have fallen loose that are bouncing against the car due to pressure from the soundwaves
if u want to get rid of vibrations then use dynamat(i suggest extreme because it works better and it is easier to apply) if u want to get rid of rattling, you have to get inside the doors and look for any loose objects, once removed secure anything that is coming loose. if done properly all of the rattles in that area should be cleared up.
