Question about JL's 12w6 & 12w6v2

Any big difference? I asked this question in the audio & electronics forum but no answer. Which one is preferred? Please help, I'm in a rush to get these =). Thanks

12w6 is the old design... about 300 watts peak each subwoofer

v2 looks diff.. check www.jlaudio.com for specs

yes, i've seen how it looks like. but performance wise. did they restrict anything? or did they just build it better?

V2 has different looking cone, more beefy basket, more power handling and twice of the price.

i have owned both, and to tell the truth i liked the original one more.
