Why ask now that you have bought it? Now it's yours. Delete the other 5 post, and just use this one. Start by posting more info ,like what 8's you have and the spec. Complete and usefull info.

I have 2 pioneer eights enclosed in a custom box closed in plexiglass where you see the speakers. The specs not too sure about. I was told good eights can handle about 200 watts each. true?

Specifications for amp:

2 Channel Amplification
2 x 300 Watts Output
1 x 600 Watts Bridged Output
600 Watts Total Output
Polished Chrome Finish w/Plexiglass Panel
Remote Control Bass Boost (0-+1808 @ 60Hz)
Fully Adjustable Electronic Crossover Network
Soft Turn On/Off Circuit
2 Ohm Stereo Stable Bridgeable Into 4 Ohms
Moseft PWM Power Supplies
Variable Gain Control
Remote Turn On/Off
Hi/Low Level Inputs
Power On LED Indicator
LED Protection Indicator
Dimensions: 10.4"W x 2.6"H x 12"L
Weight: 8.4lb

any input appreciated since I don't know much about steros. How much to get this installed on my car with the stock bose setup?

What impedence are the 8s? That makes a big difference.

I could have sold you a better amp than that one (though it would be used). You got what is normally thought of as a disposible amp- one that will do its thing for a while, but will eventually burn out and have to be replaced.

You need to unscrew one and pull it out of the box and we can tell you what to look for on the back. We can tell you how to wire it to optimize the amp.
