Alpine MP3 Changer and Stock 99 BOSE
Hi,
I want to add an aftermarket CD changer to my Bose. Here is what I think I will need.
CD changer (MP3) (Alpine has one that is Ai-Net capable.
Ai-Net to M-Bus converter
Stock Radio to M-Bus converter
Has anyone used this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3289 and do they know if it will work with the stock Bose?
Is what I am trying to do impossible?
Thanks

if you're going to try that why not just get a M bus unit instead of wasting your money on the Ai-net unit. I don't think it will work though, because Alpine's stuff is proprietary so they won't mate as you would want them to

Because, the MP3 changer only comes in Ai-Net interface. You can buy a Ai-Net to M Bus converter for like $20 to make the CD changer talk to the head unit. Now, there is this interface called ALNS1 which lets the BOSE talk to the M-Bus CD changers. Hence my question !!!
