Do u guys know of any good websites for Car audio?
I don't have anything but the stock BOSE am/fm cassette, I am looking to upgrade a bit. I searched for this topic but couldn't find anything. So, what are some good websites for Car audio? places with relatively CHEAP prices would be nice
I know of Crutchfield.com, any other sites? preferably cheap and good service + selection.
thanx

Check out http://www.ebay.com for cheap prices on audio equipment. I bought a brand new JL12W0-8 for a really cheap price and a Rockford Fosgate amp too.
for good prices and EXCELLENT service, go to http://www.mmxpress.com
The guy who runs that site is very knowledgeable and will be glad to help out any way needed as far as advice and stuff like that. prices are a tad bit higher than other places, but the service and support you get in return is worth much more than the $10 you save on the products.
another place to check out is http://www.carmedia1.com
I've heard mixed reviews about them, but think it's more personal attitudes and the "I blew up my subs twice in 6 months and they wouldn't take them back and I'm pissed" kinda stuff that got the bad rap..
also http://www.smilephotovideo.com if you feel like being bent over and screwed in the @$$ on service, but want really good prices. I tried to buy a head unit there a couple years ago.. they charged my credit card for it that day, when I placed the order over the phone.. they said it was in stock and would ship out that day.. 2 weeks later, nothing so I call back.. "Uhhh, we were out of stock.. we'll ship you one as soon as we get them." "Okay, how long will that be?"
"I don't know. we'll send it when we get one. *click*"
well, it took me over 3 MONTHS to get my money back, the whole time being treated like shi* by all the people I talked to, including the manager. BUT the prices on new stuff were better than what I can buy it for used.
