Plexiglass Enclosures?

Has anyone heard or seen one of these before?

Yes/no, since it is a different material there may be a slight difference, it also depends on how well it's made. Asuming everything is good it should be fine. With that all said it's not uncommon at all to see the backside of a box with plexi o ever the front. Never seen awhole thing made out of it. But I really doubt that the normal listner would hear any big differnce.

That is some thick plexiglass there. It would sure look nice in certain applications, but yes, I am curious to know how it would sound also.

I had mine custom built for two Boston Acoustics pro 12's. HTe plexi is very rigid and dense. Sounds great. I'm not sure about porting the enclosure though. Mine was sealed. Put a mirror in the floor of the box. Adds depth and you don't see all of the crap under the box.
