I am going to replace my non bose door speakers with Infinity Kappa's 60.5cs component speakers that come with a 6.5" mid and a 1" dome tweeter. Does anyone know if the 1" dome tweeter will fit the stock column tweeters place? Does anyone have any experience with these speakers? and instaliing them.

 

nope it won't fit.

 

I am installing mine in the black plastic triangles at the front top of each door. They are easy remove, drill, and replace when you go BTS.

 

I installed them but I don't have factory tweeters (GXE base system). I just took a hole saw (drill bit) and drilled hole in the factory location...quick & easy. I'm thinking that if your tweeters don't fit, just drill the right sized hole.
