Hi guys!

I want to make a custom sub boxes for my max and the Z and I was wondering what would have to be done? For the max I want something that I can sell to other org members, so it would have to be something that can fit in and out of the trunk. I won't worry about the Z because the trunk has really good access. I want to make the top out of fiberglass, and the rest of the box out of some medium density board. What things would I have to look out for? What would be the best design? How would the fiberglass be asembed with the rest of the box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to home depot and get MDF then build it out of that and either carpet it or paint it.

Building a box is a very painstaking and tedious process. It invloves PRECISE measurments and cutting of MDF or particle / fiber board. I've attempted to build a dual 12" sealed box and it did not turn out so well. Unless you know exactly what you're doing or you're in the supervision of a professional...I wouldnt reccommend it. There's a lot of sites you can find on box building and the volume calculators.
