Amp power question

I just bought a bunch of stuff from Best Buy today and managed to stump the guy working there. The question is I want to run 1 600Watt amp (Kenwood) to my Sub and then run a 1000 watt or another 600 watt to my door speakers both frt and rear. Would this put a big load on the car itself and would this sound ok with the stock non Bose HU? I like the HU in the fact that it sounds fine and I am not ready to change it yet. I wanted to make a little Bass so I bought the 600wt amp with a 12" X-plod sub in a bandpass box for the trunk. I am new to all of this but I didn't want too much bass. I want to change the door speakers but I need to add more power I am assuming. So to end the chapter I am looking for info on changing the speakers with an amp or if I am wasting my time.

You don't need a 1000w or 600w to you interior spkrs. Just get some nice components up front and coax spkr for the rear and get a nice 4 channel amp and you'll be fine.

a bandpass enclosure is probably the last thing you wanted if SPL (loudness) isn't your #1 priority..

Your factory head unit probably would be okay, but an aftermarket would be 100 times clearer and louder if you're planning on changing out all your door speakers and adding a sub. Why would you change out all your stuff and not upgrade the brain of them all? Just my .02 cents.

Like mentioned before, your system will sound much cleaner if you upgrade to a better headunit. Adding all your amps and new speakers to your stock Bose, will only make a little difference, not a whole lot. About 50-75 watts would be sufficient to run speakers in the front doors and rear deck. Get components for the front, and a decent 2-way or 3-way coax's for the rear for fill.

I like the function and ease of the stock non-Bose with the steering wheel control and I didn't want to change to the RF remote or converter. As for the Sub yeah you are right I shouldn't have gotten the Bandpass but we'll I am a little late for that. So if I stay with a small 4 channel amp for the 4 door speakers but change the speakers themselves I shouldn't run into any problems with the power load? Also when I switch to the 2 or 3 way coaxs for the rear do you mean add them to the system and mount in the deck or replace the rear doors completely and mount them in the deck? Please explain more
