What amp should I buy for 1 JL Audio 10W3v2
I just bought 1 10inch JL audio sub. Since this is a dual voice coil sub the guy at the store hooked it up in parellel. He said that now the load is 2ohms impedence. Which amp would be the best to drive this sub . Pls supply the name and model of the Amp, if possible. I am looking to spend around $250 or less.
Thanks

Max, I am pushing my 10W3 (version 1), with a JL Audio 250/1. I am not sure about the v2's, but mine is rated at 250 watts RMS, so it is matched perfectly. I actually don't even have the amp turned up all the way, just over half way on the gains and man, that thing pounds. I paid $270 for mine, and no, not online,,,I bought it locally. So, if you shop around, you might find one.

Thanks guys,
I ended up going with an Alpine MDR300. It is suppose to be 300 watts RMS in 2 ohms. I saw it at a local stereo place for $329 but I am getting it over the Net for $210.
I just received it today and planning on installing it in over the weekend.
