Sub help
Ok so I have a jbl bp1200.1 amp..strong as hell..i also have a audiobahn aw1206q Sub rated at 2200 peak, 1100 rms...so i think i have blown the sub...its a 12inch btw...and i was looking at the Infinity 1220W..i was looking at getting 2 of them...i just want to know if anyone has heard these subs and if they are any good..if not please recommend subs that are good with this amp...THANKS A LOT
Are you talking of the infinity reference 12"? Those are 1220 watts peak....2 of them wont handle a jbl bp1200.1 unless you keep your gains way down. The Infinity Kappa perfects would be able to to take that amp, providing they have small boxes each (1 cube each).

with that amp you should be getting 1200 Watts at 2ohms or 600 W at 4ohms.
if you buy to "regular" subs like the Infinity Reference 12s and wire them in series they would be ok because they will produce an 8ohm load and will get 300 Watts. If you wire them in parallel they produce a 2ohm load and get 1200 Watts which is approaching theie peak range so that won't be a good idea. As stated earlier you have to keep the gain low.
I would suggest subs with DVCs so you have more play with the configurations.
these 2 following subs are 2 of the most powerful subs you'll find for continous power:
