03 factory audio, New fronts or amp?
03 factory audio, New fronts or amp?
I have just bought a 03 max with the factory (Crap) non Bose system. I am eventually going to replace it all, except for the head unit. I would like to keep that stock. I am in the process of putting in a sub. I have about $250 more to spend. Should I replace those factory fronts or just add an amp and run some good clean power to them? What is the weak link, the speakers, or the lack or power they are getting from the factory head unit? I will have to live with my decision for about 4-6 months until I can sock away enough for the other parts. Thanks 4 the response
