bose speaker ohm rating

so, it is said that the bose speakers are 1 ohm. well i tested mine the other day and they were actually at about 3.3-3.4 ohm. that seems like it would be high enough to run safely on an aftermarket head unit (still bypassing the amp of course)

Hmm I have never tested mine did you test all of them or just one? if you tested more than one were they consistent?

I think quite a few people run them by bypassing the amps though without any problems.

who all has tried to install aftermarket head unit with the stock speakers? This would save me the hassle of fixing the amps.
