There should be markings on the amp for mono speaker connections. When you bridge the front 2 channels, you only use one + and one - terminal. Same for the rear. Just use the bridged markings to the + and - of each speaker from the front for one sub and the rear for the other and it should work.

Re: Re: Wiring help

so basically get a wire from the amp to one sub, a wire from that sub to the other, and a wire from that sub to the amp?

I just looked at the 700 on line. It is a 2 channel amp. You will run the subs in series since they are 4 ohm subs. The way this is done is pretty simple. But you have to make sure the connections are correct or you will end up with no bass.

You take the bridged + terminal from the amp and run it to the first subs + terminal. You then jump a wire from the negative terminal of the first speaker to the positive terminal of the second speaker. Then you run a wire from the negative terminal of the second speaker back to the negative bridged terminal. This puts the speakers in Series, in essence causing the amp to see a load of 8 ohms, which is cut in half because you are bridging the amp.

You will get more output from the amp if you run two 8 ohm subs parallel. That would allow the amp to see a load of 4 ohms, which is like 2 ohms stereo. The amp will work harder because of the lowered resistance. But I am sure you will end up with ample bass if you hook up what you have properly.

Hope this helps.
